Sarah Khong

Qualifications: Masters of Physiotherapy/ Bachelors of Health Science

Following her graduation from La Trobe University, Sarah began working in a rotating public hospital role, across a variety of different hospitals within acute and rehabilitation settings. She is currently working in a public rehabilitation hospital in a role focused on helping patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis.

With a keen eye for detail, Sarah takes a holistic and caring approach to your recovery. She has a passion for working closely with you to help you understand your condition and achieving your goals to assist you in returning to the activities that you love. Sarah believes a hands-on approach will best guide you in finding the most efficient and pain-free movements to help you exercise.

Sarah has a particular interest in neurological conditions and has completed further training on the Bobath Concept through the Australian Bobath Training Association (ABTA). She is currently undertaking further study in Bobath techniques.

At Thompsons Road Physiotherapy Sarah instructs our Saturday morning Exercise Rehabilitation classes.

Fun Fact: Sarah has a peculiar love of sloths. She enjoys rock climbing and yoga, and she has a passion for dancing and teaches wedding dances in her spare time. She is a talented baker and often treats the TRP team with delicious baked goods.
