Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Master of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy.
Megan has worked in hospitals around Australia and in the UK, in both acute and rehabilitation settings. Over the last 20 years Megan’s clinical focus has been the treatment of people with and recovering from cancer. She currently works part-time in an acute public hospital in cancer services. She has also had extensive experience working with people with lung disease and other chronic medical issues. With her friendly, caring and supportive nature, Megan sees patients receiving or recovering from cancer treatment, patients with lung disease and those patients needing help to get back on track following illness or surgery.
Megan is also a qualified lymphoedema therapist, a member of the Australian Lymphology Association and is on the National Lymphoedema Practioner Registry. She can provide accurate lymphoedema assessment and surveillance using bio-spectroscopy (SOZO) and prescribe customised compression garments. Megan can also provide lifestyle and exercise advice to patients at risk of and living with lymphoedema.
Fun Facts: Megan’s favourite food is anything she doesn’t have to cook herself. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her 3 children play sport, and walking her beautiful Labrador, Barley.
