Lauren Broomhall

Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), Yoga Instructor (YTT 200hr), APPI Pilates Matwork Trained.

With 10 years of experience in private practice, Lauren enjoys working with a wide range of people across all ages, and loves helping people get back to their normal activities. She also manages our exercise rehabilitation services. She is often assisted by her cream labrador Navada who provides therapeutic canine snuggles to patients.

Lauren believes that education and understanding are critical components of recovery, and she will always take time with you to discuss your condition so that you understand the reasons for your problems, and what you need to do to get better. Lauren provides holistic care in her physiotherapy practice.

Lauren has a particular interest therapeutic movement such as yoga and pilates style rehabilitation exercise, and will be sure to include exercise prescription as part of her treatment plan. She also understands the benefits of a hands-on approach and uses a combination of massage techniques, dry needling, cupping and myofascial release to provide relief for patients.

Lauren also teaches group yoga, pilates reformer and pilates matwork classes in our wellbeing studio.

Lauren has extensive experience in sporting injuries – she has previously worked with several senior local football teams over the years, both as a physio and providing sports-specific exercise sessions. Whenever you come and see Lauren, she will give you a good lecture about how to look after yourself, as well as have a great chat about all things travel, sport, food and wine! When she is not in the clinic Lauren is likely spotted doing yoga or walking around the Warrandyte Yarra River area with her friendly Labrador Navada.

Fun facts: Lauren’s favourite food is Thai green curry, and she supports the Melbourne Demons in AFL. From many years of competitive snow sports, Lauren has broken a bunch of bones and other body parts, so she understands injury and rehab!
