With 15 years of experience, Mayur has a passion for all things Physio. He takes a “whole body” approach to managing injuries and focuses on returning people to their chosen movement and activities. He believes that movement is the best medicine, and that physiotherapists are expert in facilitating this as part of your healthcare team. To help return people to movement and exercise Mayur uses hands-on techniques, dry-needling, education and specific exercise rehabilitation strategies.
Mayur has completed extensive post-graduate education in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Vestibular Rehabilitation and is committed to ongoing education for all staff at Thompsons Road Physiotherapy. During his career, Mayur has worked in rural Victorian hospitals, as well as Melbourne and Sydney based hospitals in both acute and rehabilitation settings. He has worked across a range of clinics that focus on occupational health, professional sports, orthopaedics and military Physiotherapy in Australia and in the UK.
At our clinic Mayur sees patients with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic issues including headaches, jaw pain, spinal pain, shoulder injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, lower limb injuries, arthritis and complex presentations. Mayur also sees patients with vertigo and dizziness and assists them in returning to normal movement.
