With seven years of experience in private practice, Lauren enjoys working with a wide range of people across all ages, and loves helping people get back to their normal activities.
Lauren believes that education and understanding are critical components of recovery, and she will always take time with you to discuss your condition so that you understand the reasons for your problems, and what you need to do to get better. Lauren provides holistic care in her physiotherapy practice.
Lauren has a particular interest in the therapeutic benefits of yoga – including the physical, mental and emotional aspects of wellbeing. For those interested, Lauren can provide pain and injury treatment using a variety of yoga exercises and techniques, as well as blending this knowledge with her physiotherapy skills. She also teaches group yoga classes.
Lauren has extensive experience in sporting injuries – she has previously worked with several senior local football teams over the years, both as a physio and providing sports-specific exercise sessions. Whenever you come and see Lauren, she will give you a good lecture about how to look after yourself, as well as have a great chat about all things travel, sport, food and wine! When she is not in the clinic Lauren is likely spotted doing yoga or walking around the Clifton Hill area.
Fun facts: Lauren’s favourite food is Thai green curry, and she supports the Melbourne Demons in AFL. From many years of competitive snow sports, Lauren has broken a bunch of bones and other body parts, so she understands injury and rehab!
