Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy, FIFA Football Medicine Diploma, Grad.Dip Sports Physiotherapy.
Being injury prone from a young age and being actively involved in sport led Andy to spend a lot of time in physiotherapy clinics growing up. During these visits, he became fascinated with how the body worked which led him to graduate as a physiotherapist from Monash University. He is also currently completing his masters is sports physiotherapy and conducting research into shoulder tendon management.
Since graduating Andy has worked in private clinics, pain management programs, teaching at universities and sporting clubs. His passion lies with sports injury management having worked in Aussie rules, kickboxing, hockey, football (soccer) and is headed to the commonwealth games in 2018 working with boxing. Andy is also experienced in treating non-sporting injuries and helping people to achieve their health own fitness goals. Whether it’s winning a world title or walking to the milk bar without pain, Andy will help you get there.
Fun facts: Andy loves every sport but has a special love for football (soccer) following both Manchester United and Melbourne City. Also an avid snowboarder, Andy has travelled the world in search for the best snow. Despite his best efforts, he is still unable to click his fingers or whistle.
